This Golden Ticket provides the winning applicant, dedicated lab bench and office space for one year at BioLabs Hôtel-Dieu, and access to the AMGEN team of scientific and industry advisors.

This new edition of the « Golden Ticket » program Amgen – Biolabs Hôtel-Dieu in Paris is open to life sciences, biotechnology and digital health startups that are developing innovative solutions in:
Cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, rare diseases, inflammatory diseases, oncology and hematology
Emerging approach and technology platforms in the fields of R&D, precision medicine or data sciences (link with AI, organoids …)
Providing added value in health activities

A subset of applications will be identified as finalist by the contest judges by
November 10, 2024

Finalists will present their company & scientific concept at an in-person event on
December 10, 2024

Judging Criteria and Judges
The Committees will judge all Applications based on the following criteria:
Quality of the science and scientific rationale: description of the scientific rationale and of the unique technical features of the proposed solution, summary of proof-of-concept data
Strategic alignment with Amgen’s current therapeutic areas
Need and development potential in the applicable field (i) description of the problem/unmet need that the technology addresses and of the adequation of the proposed solution to the unmet need and (ii) description of the differentiation of the proposed solution within the international competitive landscape;
Execution capabilities of the Participant’s team: background of the founders, description of the composition of the participant’s team
Sustainability and impact of the Participant’s activities on the environment and society
Interest and motivation to join BioLabs Hôtel Dieu site
