Building community in precision medicine
The BIH Clinical Incubator (CLIC) supports academic founders, clinician-scientists, and early-stage biotechs working to translate advanced therapies from research into clinical application. Established by the Berlin Institute of Health at Charité (BIH) in partnership with BioLabs, CLIC is designed for innovations emerging from academia, the hospital setting, or newly formed companies that require a structured path toward clinical translation and company formation.
Teams at CLIC gain access to fully equipped laboratory and office infrastructure and Charité’s clinical and translational environment, alongside BioLabs’ global incubator network, operational expertise, and connections to an international community of founders, industry partners, and investors. By combining public research depth with private-sector company-building experience, CLIC provides a shared home for advanced therapeutic programs that are too translational for academia alone and too early for traditional industry or venture capital.
