Lundbeck is looking for an early-stage startup focused on research in new therapeuticsolutions within neuro-rare diseases affecting the central and peripheral nervous system particularly interested butnot restricted to the following key disease areas

• Repeat expansion diseases e.g., Huntington’s disease, Friedreich’s ataxia, spinocerebellar ataxias etc ​

• Neuromuscular diseases e.g., Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, etc​

• Epilepsies with causal biology insight e.g., epilepsy syndromes, specific or broad developmental and epilepticencephalopathy (DEEs) and other biologically defined segments ​

• Neuro-endocrinology with causal biology insight e.g. graves’ disease, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Cushing disease,Prader-Willi syndrome, ect​

• Lysosomal storage diseases target for CNS symptoms e.g. Hunter syndrome, Sanfilippo syndrome, etc​

• Migraine or head pain disease with central mode of action e.g. monogenetic familial hemiplegic migraines​

• Modalities: small molecules, oligonucleotides, and large molecules such as antibodies​

• New technology platforms that improve cellular uptake and biodistribution to the central and peripheral nervous system usingboth large and small molecules, digital/AI tools, novel humanized model systems or biomarkers to enabled drug discoveryare of particular interest​
